Privacy policy
Your practice stays yours.
Last updated September 5, 2026 · Ganesh Daily 1.0
Ganesh Daily works without an account or internet connection. The app does not send your practice activity or other personal data to the developer.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the information needed for your practice on your iPhone:
- Daily practice selections, dates, and the time-zone context used to keep them consistent.
- Practice steps, manual chant counts, start and completion times, and completed-practice history.
- Favorite mantras and teachings.
- Introduction status, display preferences, sound and haptic settings, and your optional reminder time.
These records are not uploaded to a Ganesh Daily server. The app has no account, cloud-sync service, analytics, advertising, tracking, microphone access, or location access.
Apple device backups
Local app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups managed by Apple according to your device and backup settings. Ganesh Daily does not operate that backup service or maintain a separate copy of your practice history. Apple handles its services under its own privacy terms and your settings.
Optional reminders
Notification permission is requested only if you turn on the daily reminder. The app schedules a recurring notification locally on your iPhone. It does not use a remote push-notification service.
The notification uses neutral wording: “A quiet moment” and “Take a few minutes for yourself.” iOS may show the app's name alongside it, depending on your settings. You can turn the reminder off in the app or manage notifications in iPhone Settings. Permission is not required for the rest of the app.
Deleting local data
In the app, open Practice → Delete local data and confirm Delete all local data. This removes your local practice records, favorites, preferences, and scheduled and delivered app reminders. The app then returns to a fresh setup state.
This action does not erase historical device backups or email you previously sent to support. Manage backups through Apple's settings. The developer cannot retrieve your local practice data for you.
If you contact support
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you send. The developer and email service provider handle that information to respond to your request. You do not need to send your practice history or sensitive personal information.
You may ask about or request deletion of your support correspondence using the contact below. Email retention may also depend on the provider's systems and any applicable legal obligations.
This website
These pages do not include analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, contact forms, or browser storage. Visiting them sends a normal web request to the hosting provider, which may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request time to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the offline app.
Opening an email link launches your chosen email service. Information you send is handled as support correspondence described above.
Changes and contact
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated. The date above identifies this version.
