Help & contact

A little guidance.

Find help with your practice, reminders, and local data. We also welcome corrections to language, sources, and devotional context.

Contact support

Email Tom Maciejewski at tommaciejewski@yahoo.com.

For a technical issue, include your iPhone model, iOS version, the app version shown in Practice → About, and what happened. Send only the details you are comfortable sharing; your practice history is not needed.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No. The app's practice, library, favorites, and history work offline. Sending support email and visiting this website require a connection.

How do I return to an unfinished practice?

Open Today and choose Resume. The app saves your step and manual chant count. Completed practices appear under Practice → Completed practices.

How do I change the mantra text?

Open Practice → Practice settings. Choose Devanagari, IAST transliteration, or plain pronunciation. At least one text option stays visible.

How do daily reminders work?

Open Practice → Daily reminder, turn it on, and choose a time. iOS asks for notification permission when you enable it. The reminder is scheduled on your iPhone and says, “Take a few minutes for yourself.”

If it does not appear, check the app's notification permission in iPhone Settings, the selected reminder time, and your Focus or notification-summary settings. You can continue using the app without reminders.

Can I sync or recover my practice history?

Ganesh Daily does not provide cloud sync or a developer-held copy of your history. Apple device backups may include local app data according to your settings. We cannot retrieve your practice history from a server.

How do I delete my data?

Open Practice → Delete local data, then confirm Delete all local data. This removes the app's local progress, completed-practice history, favorites, preferences, and reminder. Existing Apple backups are managed separately in your device or backup settings.

How do I report a content correction?

Email the mantra or teaching title, the specific wording or illustration, and your suggested correction. A source, regional context, or lineage reference is helpful. Ganesh devotion includes many traditions, and the app does not claim one universal presentation.

How do I report an accessibility issue?

Tell us which screen or action is difficult and which accessibility settings you use, such as VoiceOver or larger text. A description is enough; screenshots are optional.
